Electronics Design Engineer
REQUIREMENTS
Education: B.Eng. hons.
Experience: 2+yrs
JOB DESCRIPTION
The design of microprocessor based electronic circuits for subsea electronic systems.
Taking product from concept through to outsource build.
Applications include advanced LED lighting systems, Machine vision systems, battery power control/charging hardware, Fibre optic communications, motion control and system integration.
Testing of product, sometimes at sea. Occasional travel
CANDIDATE
Candidate should have previous PCB design experience using leading design software such as Orcad.
Experience in some of the following would be required: high volume PCB manufacturing, PCB Layout, High speed electronics design, Motion control, Vision systems, LED technology.
This is a technically challenging fast paced environment where strong initiative and ability count above all else.
